SARAH HARRIS, is a musician and composer and worker in music and arts administration. Sarah contributes to various projects across genres from rock to folk to experimental/electronic as a musician, producer, engineer, and songwriter. Sarah has a deep interest in sound based creation and research, with recent creative works focusing on soundscape composition, and auditory hallucinations in Newfoundland folklore.
In the late 2010’s Sarah led the St. John’s-based band Property, becoming a staple at festivals across Eastern Canada. The most recent release as Property, Think Electric!, teetered the lines between post-punk and rock, and demonstrated the depth of Sarah’s songwriting, and signature sound. Sarah has also composed music for three award-winning Canadian short films and has been an active member of the Montreal bands Knitting and Amery since 2022. She is a recent graduate of Concordia University with a BFA in Creative Practice in Electroacoustic Studies.
